The original fireplace felt heavy and oversized for the space, so we reworked the overall size and proportions to better fit the room and create a more intentional focal point.

We replaced the stone with Roman clay, added a Taj Mahal quartzite hearth, and incorporated custom oak shelves into the newly designed arched niches. The result is a softer, warmer, more collected backdrop that feels right at home in the space.
